After losing their first game of the United States Amateur Baseball Association (USABA) World Series last week, the Seattle Bombers have battled back all the way to the final day.
And today, the Bombers get a shot at the the championship of the 12-team tournament when they take on the California Giants at Governor's Field.
The Giants, 9-0 so far in the World Series, play the Bombers at 5 p.m. on Field 1. If the Bombers win, the two teams will play again at 8 o'clock.
Fans will be admitted to the finals free of charge.
Seattle continued its march through the losers bracket by winning twice on Wednesday. The Bombers defeated Triple Play 10-6 and then came back to edge past the Calgary Dawgs 2-1.
A home run in the sixth inning was the game-winner for the Bombers.
The California Giants earned their berth in the championship round on Tuesday by scoring seven runs in the sixth inning to beat Calgary 11-7.
