Horsetail Falls hike set

The Sporting Rage is offering an organized group hike to Horsetail Falls on Saturday.

The group will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Sporting Rage, located in south Carson City, and then carpool to the trailhead for the hike.

The hike is described as being of moderate difficulty, so hikers need to have a certain amount of conditioning. Hikers need to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a picnic lunch (cameras are also encouraged).

There is no cost for the trip, although interested persons are encouraged to contact the Sporting Rage beforehand to sign up for the hike.
