The Douglas girls soccer team scored in the first 11 seconds on its way to a 12-0 win over Wooster on Saturday.
"It's not one of those games that's a lot of fun," Douglas coach Fred Schmidt said. "You've got to create games within a game."
Douglas worked on scoring on headers and scored on several headers and also worked on its passing. At the start of the second half, all 11 players for the Tigers made 67 passes without the defense touching the ball.
Two players also scored their first goals of the season for Douglas (6-1-1). McKenzie Porter scored twice and Sierra Miller scored once.
Amber Gwinn sent the kickoff to start the game to Kali Schmidt, who beat three defenders to score in the first 11 seconds. Gwinn scored on an assist from Lindsee Porter, Andrea Chaney scored on an assist from Gwinn, Jessica Girdner scored on an assist from Karen Lucas, Miller scored on an assist from Lindsee Porter, Lindsay and McKenzie Porter each scored to give Douglas a 7-0 lead.
Gwinn scored on a header from Tracey Hawks and Hannah Sullivan scored on a header to give Douglas a 9-0 halftime lead. On the goal Rebecca Wallstrum crossed the ball to Schmidt, who headed the ball to Sullivan.
Britney Christen and McKenzie Porter also scored in the second half.

The Douglas boys soccer team won its second game in league play. Nick Beras scored on a cross from Chris Bardman to give Douglas a 1-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, Sean Rahe scored on an assist from Yuri Weigel, Brian DeMarta scored on a header on an assist from Henry Leon, Rahe scored again and Jeremy Curtis scored on a shot from 25 yards out. Chase Zumpft posted the shut out at goalie.
