Sheriff's blotter: Carson City bookings

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


-- A 52-year-old vagrant was taken into civil protective custody at 1:10 p.m. Sunday at Smith's. She was held until sober or for 48 hours, whichever came first.


-- A 21-year-old female from Fallbrook, Calif., was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Sunday at the Sheriff's Department for suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $1,215.


-- Javier Villarruel-Lopez, 20, a finisher for a contractor, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. Sunday at Highway 50 East and Sunrise Drive for suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance and the following misdemeanor offenses: possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, speeding and unlawful acts of financial responsibility. His bail was set at $2,500.


-- Dorothy Ann Greer, 40, a housewife from Carson City, was arrested at 4:26 p.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of North Carson Street on two counts of suspicion of felony probation violation, felony grand larceny and a felony fugitive from justice warrant out of South Lake Tahoe Superior Court. No bail was set.


-- A 39-year-old roofer from Carson City was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Rock Bridge for suspicion of misdemeanor court order violation. Bail was set at $1,105.


-- A 19-year-old cook from Carson City was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of College Parkway for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $1,810.


-- An 18-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 10 p.m. Sunday on College Parkway for suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs and no tail lamps. His bail was set at $1,145.


-- James Calvin Norried II, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of felony burglary. His bail was set at $25,000.
