Before moving to Fish Springs, she lived at South Lake Tahoe for 25 years.
Mrs. Bell loved to garden on their small farm in Fish Springs. She worked for the South Lake Tahoe Visitor's Bureau and the El Dorado County Library. She also groomed dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon A. Bell in 1994 and brother Bud Sloan.
Among her survivors are her daughters Valentina Marie Bell and Vivica Ann Bell Henningsen; grandchildren Monty Wayne Dodge, Forrest Andrew Dodge, Felecia Dawn Dodge and great-grandchildren Synthiah O'Kelleher and Jeremiah O'Kelleher.
A service was April 13 at David Walley's Hot Springs Gazebo.
She donated her remains to the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Department of Physiology and Cell Biology.
