The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:


-- A 46-year-old contractor from Carson City was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Ruby Lane for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,105.


-- Alvin Eugene Smith, a self-employed Carson City man, was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglas County Sheriff's Department for suspicion of felony attempted grand larceny. Bail was set at $10,000.


-- Tania Ward, 35, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Carson City Jail for suspicion of felony forgery, uttering a forged instrument, misdemeanor possession of stolen property and receiving stolen property. Her bail was set at $12,500.


-- A 35-year-old cab driver from Carson City was arrested at 12:54 a.m. Thursday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bail was set at $3,105.


-- A 30-year-old store owner from Kings Beach was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Thursday on South Stewart Street for suspicion of drunken driving and speeding. His bail was set at $1,185.


-- A 26-year-old administrative assistant from Carson City was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 3100 block of Wingate Way for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.


-- Theresa Ann Fear, 37, a casino vault cashier from Carson City, was arrested Wednesday for suspicion of felony embezzlement. Her bail was set at $5,000.
