Reba Florer Hess, 84, a Nevada resident for the past 37 years, died Nov. 30, 2002, at the Evergreen Care Center. She was born July 7, 1918, in Decatur, Ark., to Bertha and Arthur Setser.
She had lived in Arkansas, Wyoming and Oregon before moving to Nevada.
Mrs. Hess worked at various jobs, belonged to numerous organizations, volunteered wherever possible, was talented in crafts and cooking, and practiced her Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Otto Florer and Russell Hess; sons Norman and Brian; and seven brothers and sisters.
Among her survivors are her daughters and son-in-laws Bonnie J. and John Bullis of Carson City and Serieta and Burrell Harrell of San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held at a future date, with interment at the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
