Galena High's Whitney Dibble has committed to play volleyball for Seattle Pacific University, a Division II school.
Dibble has made the all-High Desert League first team the past two years and has also been a second-team all-Northern 4A choice. This season, Dibble had 220 kills, 218 digs, 68 aces, 229 blocks, 116 solo blocks and 113 block assists.
She has set the state record for blocks in a season and a career. She finished with her career with 443 blocks and set the season record this past season with 229. Dibble also finished with 469 kills in her career in two seasons on the varsity.
In addition, she's been a National Honor Society member for three years.
