The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:
--Richard Allen Hightower, 21, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday for suspicion of felony probation violation, failure to appear on a vehicle theft charge and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. No bail was set.
-- Zachariah James Dix, 26, an electrician from Carson City, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of felony possession of stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit card. His bail was set at $20,000.
-- Jody Mae Hernandez, 25, a nail technician from Carson City, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. Wednesday in the 2300 block of Fairmont Way for suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and the following misdemeanors: domestic violence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $7,415.
-- Grant Thomas Williams, 37, a pipe layer from Mound House, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on a U.S. District Court warrant for suspicion of felony sales and distribution of methamphetamines. No bail was set.
-- Jeffrey Scott Gann, 44, a sales representative from East Lake Weir, Fla., was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 50 East for suspicion of felony driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor open container of alcohol in vehicle and failure to drive within marked lanes. His bail was set at $2,500.
