A 2000 black Pontiac Sunfire two-door sedan was reported missing from a Carson City dealership Monday morning.
According to Chief Deputy Scott Burau of the Carson City Sheriff's Deparment, the car was stolen from the Valley Chevrolet lot on North Carson Street.
"During a routine inventory they discovered it gone," he said. "It presumably was taken from the evening before." The car had no plates on it at the time of the theft.
Monday, police recovered a Sierra Pacific Power Co. truck stolen sometime over the weekend from the Long Street office.
The truck was found across the street from the power company, all of its tools and a Honda 5000 red and black generator missing from it.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Carson City Sheriff's Department at 887-2020.
