Iva Odetta Bradley, 72, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, died Feb. 21, 2002. She was born July 12, 1927, in Missouri, to Lola and Clarence Pate. She was one of eight children.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Leandro, Calif., for 20 years.
Mrs. Bradley worked as a waitress over the years. She loved cats and was a big fan of the Oakland As and attended many of their games. She wanted to play baseball in school but because she was 4-feet 10-inches tall and weighed 85 pounds, she was made the official scorekeeper.
Among her survivors are her husband of 45 years Roy and her nieces and nephews who knew her only as "Auntie."
