A funeral for Perry J. Kochamp, 68, a life-long Carson City area resident, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Walton's.
Mr. Kochamp died Feb. 25, 2002, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born May 21, 1933, in Gardnerville to Ralph and Mayde Kochamp.
He graduated from Stewart Indian School.
He married Vera Reymus July 14, 1988.
After serving in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict, Mr. Kochamp returned to Carson City and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for the Nevada State Department of Transportation for 17 years.
Among his survivors are his wife Vera and sons Jason and Eric, all of Carson City; daughter, Courtney Hardin of Gardnerville; sisters Nevaline Hernandez of Baldwin Park, Calif., and Justine Heath of Milford, Utah, and three grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Stewart Indian Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
