According to the December/January issue of Alaska Magazine, the results of the 2001 Best of Alaska are now in.


With ballots counted from both in-state and out-of-state readers, here are some of the 2001 winners:


Best Airline: Alaska Airlines.


Best Bar: The Salty Dawg Saloon on the Homer Spit (by out-of-state readers).


Best Bar: The Howling Dog Saloon in Fairbanks (by in-state readers).


Best Bed and Breakfast: Rockwell Lighthouse in Sitka.
