Funeral services for Ronnie Eugene Ghostbear, 38, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's.
A traditional burial will follow the service at the Stewart Indian Cemetery.
Mr. Ghostbear died Jan. 9, 2002 in Carson City. He was born Sept. 8, 1963 in Oakland, Calif., to Bernard Wykoff and Alice Louise Ghostbear. He was a member of the Oglala-Lakota Nation of Pine Ridge, S.D.
He worked as a machinist and was a tattoo artist.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Louise Ghostbear.
Among his survivors are his daughter, Salena Louise of Carson City; father Bernard Wykoff of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers Douglas Wykoff of Reno and Frank Wykoff of Oakland; and nephew Thomas Wykoff of Reno.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of the arrangements.
