Obituary: Mary Ellen Griffin

Services for Mary Ellen Griffin, 60, of Hemet, Calif., who died July 8, 2002, in Orange, Calif., were held July 12 in Orange.

Mrs. Griffin was born in Gardnerville on June 23, 1942, to Paul Weaver and Ruth Gibson Weaver.

She was raised in Carson City and graduated from Carson High School in 1960.

Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her father Paul Weaver; grandmother Elizabeth Etherton Marron; and sister Elinor Nicholson.

Surviving are husband Pat Griffin of Hemet; sons Buster Griffin of San Clemente, Calif. and Pat Griffin of Anaheim, Calif.; daughters Pam Quintero of Anaheim, Rhonda Asher of San Clemente; mother Ruth Gibson of Gardnerville; sisters Bonnie Brophy of Stagecoach and Georgia Nicholson of Gardnerville; six grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
