A graveside service for Mary Deloris Dubose, 63, a Dayton resident for the past 15 years, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Masonic Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Reno.
Mrs. Dubose died June 17, 2002, at her home. She was born March 21, 1939, in Chetopa, Kan., to Walter and Loreine Vassar Ross.
After raising six children, she returned to school to become a nurse. She earned an associate's of science degree in nursing and was on the President's List at graduation.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Tahoe Vista, Calif.
Mrs. Dubose was a nurse at Carson Convalescent Center. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, son Walter on Jan. 2, 1975 and granddaughter Monique Burnett on Dec. 24, 1987.
Among her survivors are her sons Robert Hogge of Coos Bay, Ore., Russell Coopride of Carson City, Billy Lee Coopride of Roseburg, Ore., Joe Dubose of Germany, and Danny and Bud Dubose of Texas; daughters Linda Bender of Vancouver, Wash., Janie Koehler and Margaret Coopride-Blaich, both of Dayton; brothers William Beman of Shelton, Wash. and Walter Ross of Elko; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
