A graveside service for Setsuko Arndt, 72, a Dayton resident for the past six years, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dayton Cemetery.
Mrs. Arndt died March 24, 2002, at Cerritos, Calif., of Lou Gehrig's disease. She was born Aug. 14, 1929, in Tokyo, Japan.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Glendora, Calif., for 28 years.
She married Walter Arndt Dec. 9, 1970, in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Arndt worked for the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo before moving to the United States. She was a member of the Dayton Valley Golf Club and she was an accomplished oil painter.
Among her survivors are her husband Walter of Dayton; sister Chieko of Cerritos; sons Phillip of Hinsdale, Ill., Robert of Dayton and Douglas of New York City and six grandchildren.

Cremation was at Fukui Mortuary in Los Angeles.
