A funeral for Dennis Wainio, 62, a Gardnerville resident for the past four years, will be at noon Friday at the Carson Valley Methodist Church in Gardnerville with the Rev. Pete Nelson officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City and from 10:30-noon Friday at Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
Mr. Wainio died April 27, 2002, at the Carson Valley Medical Center. He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Edwin Arthur and Claudyne Bezotte Wainio.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Tracy, Calif.
Mr. Wainio loved motorcycles, especially Harleys. He was a member of Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Tony.
Among his survivors are his wife Irene of Gardnerville; daughters Katherine Mizell of Livermore, Calif., and Angela Morris of Modesto, Calif.; son Tim of Lufton, SC.; brothers Pat Ehrich of Monterey Hills, Calif., and Michael Ehrich of Pasadena, Calif.; granddaughters Misty, Krystal and Cari; grandsons Mark and John; great-granddaughter Miya Whitney and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden is in charge of arrangements.
