The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
-- Robert Lee Hurt, 34, of Carson City, a truck driver, was arrested at 11:14 a.m. Thursday at the Carson City jail for investigation of embezzlement of a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $15,000.
-- Samuel Contreras, 43, of Carson City, a construction worker, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. Thursday at the Carson City jail on warrants out of Carson City Justice Court for investigation of battery with a deadly weapon and trespassing. Bail was set at $5,000.
-- Thomas Russell Allen, 54, of Carson City, no occupation noted, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road for investigation of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia and a tail lamp violation. Bail was set at $2,540.
-- Ray William McKay, 25, of Carson City, a casino worker, was arrested on two warrants out of Michigan, including one count of criminal sexual assault with a weapon. He was being held without bail.
-- A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:58 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of East Fifth Street for investigation of violation of a protective custody order and criminal contempt. Bail was set at $2,000.
-- A 30-year-old San Jose real-estate agent was arrested at 11:28 p.m. Thursday at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane for investigation of first-offense driving under the influence and speeding. Bail was set at $1,185.
