A memorial service for Warren Huntington Barlow Sr., 86, a Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's.
Mr. Balrow died Oct. 10, 2002, at Manor Care of Reno. He was born May 20, 1916, in Hermosa Beach, Calif., to Harry and Georgia Barlow, but was raised by his Aunt Ally in California.
He married Rosemary Betty Hilton Feb. 8, 1936. She preceded him in death July 31, 2002.
Mr. Barlow worked for the railroad for several years. He moved from California to Nevada and lived in Fallon, Yerington, Silver Springs and then Carson City where he remained for 40 years. He owned restaurants in Reno, Fallon and Silver Springs. He opened Adobe Realty in Carson City, the business from which he retired.
He donated time and money to numerous charities. He particularly loved camping and socializing with his Good Sam Friends, Kyle's Roadrunners and Silver Sage Sams.
Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Warren Huntington Jr. and Constance Elaine Phalen of Reno; brother Harry of California; grandchildren Cindy Ann Barlow Meek, Kenneth James Barlow, Bonnie Colleen Barlow Serpa and Warren Huntington III, all of the Reno-Sparks area, and great-grandchildren Nathan Barlow, Jere Barlow, Rebecca Meek, Valerie Serpa and Ciera Barlow and nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
