DOUGLAS 4, MCQUEEN 2


The Douglas boys soccer team dominated the second half after trailing 1-0 at halftime.


Chris Honer scored on a shot from 25 yards out 10 minutes into the second half. Miles Delaurentis, Trent Hennessy-York and David Sturgess all scored to give Douglas a 4-1 lead. McQueen scored a meaningless goal with five minutes left for the final margin.

Justin Norvell and Alex Haas scored in the loss for the Douglas junior varsity boys soccer team. Kyle Currence and Nate Vandermade also played well for Douglas. Goalies Steve Done and Braden Haws combined for 10 saves for the Tigers.
