A graveside service for Abby Snoffer, 90, a Carson City resident for the past 19 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Happy Homestead Cemetery at South Lake Tahoe.
Mrs. Snoffer died Sept. 9, 2002, at Mount View Care Center. She was born Nov. 2, 1911, in Oregon House, Calif., to Ezra A. and Annie C. Rose Johnson.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at South Lake Tahoe from 1969 to 1983.
Mrs. Snoffer owned and operated several apartments at South Lake Tahoe. She was past chapter president of The American Cancer Society at South Lake Tahoe.
She was preceded in death by her husband Otto in 1960 and three brothers and four sisters.
Among her survivors are her nephews Willis Swan of Fallon, Ben Swan of Grass Valley, Calif., Sam Johnson of Yuba City, Calif., and Lowell Loveless of Modesto, Calif., and nieces Kathy Clark of Yuba City, Calif., Lavina Hobbs of Summerset, Calif., and Sylvia Gard of Juneau, Alaska.
