A celebration of life for Harold E. Staub, 76, a Carson City resident for 43 years, will be from 2-4 p.m. April 26 at 2425 S. Lompa Lane.
Mr. Staub died April 16, 2003, in Carson City. He was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Glendive, Mont., to John and Anna Staub.
He graduated from high school in Glendive.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Modesto, Calif., and Salt Lake City.
Mr. Staub owned and operated the A&W restaurant from 1960 to 1976, when he retired. He was a Catholic.
He served in the U.S. Marines for six years during World War II.
He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Among his survivors are his sisters Josephine and Betty of Seattle; wife, Marlene; sons John and Richard and daughter Sandra Amodei, all of Carson City; daughters-in-law Judy Staub and Janet Staub; and grandchildren Lindsey, Matt, Ryanne, Erin, Sam and Sadie.
