Russell Stout, a resident of Carson City for the past 16 years, died Aug. 21, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born March 12, 1928, in Inglewood, Calif., to Herbert and Eva Vandergriff Stout. He was 75.
Mr. Stout married Carol Lane Aug. 4, 1950, in Los Angeles. He enjoyed fishing and gambling and worked for Los Angeles Parks and Recreation as a supervisor.
Prior to moving to Carson City Mr. Stout lived in Inglewood.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; son, Ricky of Los Angeles; daughter Pamela Ketchum of Paramount, Calif.; brother Jack of Cottage Grove, Ore.; sisters Ruth Todd of Westminster, Calif., and Mariah Byars of Huntington Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
