Longtime Carson City resident Margaret J. Clark died Feb. 8, 2003, at her home. She was born June 24, 1932 in Loveland, Colo., to Ivan and Ruth Bader. She was 70.
Mrs. Clark was born to a farming family and raised in Loveland. She graduated from high school in Loveland and attended Colorado University.
She married Byron Clark in 1951. Mrs. Clark worked as the secretarial supervisor for Nevada's welfare division.
She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Loveland.
Prior to living in Carson City, Mrs. Clark lived in Manteca, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Barbara Ann Doke and a sister Dorothy Covey of Denver.
Among her survivors are her children Kelly, Sue and Dennis, all of Carson City; grandchildren Kacey Clark, Dustin Clark, Mike Howard, Denny Howard, Bobby Howard, Ditto Doke, Peggy and T.J. Redican, all of Carson City; three-great grandchildren of Carson City; sisters Eloise Heller of Florida, Marion Hougland of New Mexico and Betty Riddle of Fort Collins, Colo.; brother, Eldon Bader of Loveland; and various nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial will be held.
