The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- A 19-year-old Carson City laborer was arrested at 7:52 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Woodside Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

-- A 53-year-old unemployed Lake Tahoe woman was arrested at 3:09 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of East William on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,105.

-- A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:52 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of East William on misdemeanor suspicion of minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set $210.

-- A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 11:06 p.m. Saturday at the Koontz water tower on misdemeanor suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol and having an open container. Bail was set at $370.

-- Kurt Douglas Steele, a 35-year-old transient construction worker, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in the 50 block of Gibson Street on gross misdemeanor suspicion of failure to appear in court on a fraud case and felony suspicion of probation violation. No bail was set.

-- A 30-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:19 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Ashby Court and Menlo Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of violating a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $1,105.

-- Manuel Ricky Merdano, 22, an unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 3 a.m. Saturday at the Pi-on Plaza Casino on felony suspicion of drug trafficking and failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $60,00.
