We always wonder how we can change things. Sometimes I know I feel my one little action will not make a big difference, but to sit back and just complain and do nothing is far worse. Thank you all for your continued support for our local Super Kmart.
I was astounded to hear that the Carson City School District's Nutrition Services, directed by Carol Sheeks and her assistant Bonnie Eastwood, teamed up with the Department of Education and the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada to serve 19,285 nutritional lunches during June, July and August for children attending the club. What a great program to help ensure children receive a good meal during the summer.
