A graveside service for Mary Catherine Bishop Frey, 95, a Carson City resident for the past 37 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall, Mo. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home there.
Mrs. Frey died June 23, 2003, at Nevada Cares Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 18, 1908, in Marshall to John Samuel and Florence Fenwick Bishop.
She married Morton N. "Pat" Frey on Nov. 6, 1940.
Mrs. Frey was a homemaker. Her husband was a Navy officer, and they lived in Morocco; Puerto de Santa Maria and Rota, Spain; and throughout the United States. She traveled extensively through Europe and especially loved Greece. She was a Pearl Harbor survivor and a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughter, Mary Frey Parfitt of Fresno, Calif.; grandson, Jonathan Parfitt; and several nieces and nephews.
