Charles N. "Chuck" Bishop, 88, a Carson City resident for the past nine months, died March 23, 2003, in Carson City. He was born April 16, 1914, in Viroqua, Wis.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Canyon Lake, Calif., and Sun City, Calif.
Mr. Bishop was employed with Douglas Aircraft in El Segundo, Calif., from 1941 to 1974. He was past president of the Lions Club in Canyon Lake. He enjoyed working on the computer, wrote extensively, and he and his wife were world travelers.
Among his survivors are his wife of 62 years, Dorothy of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Mara and Daniel Statnekov of Santa Fe, N. M.; daughter Pam Bishop of Menifee Valley, Calif.; special niece and husband Shari and Dixon Lieby of Carson City; grandchildren Jacob and Isaac Statnekov of Santa Fe; sisters Carolyn Trott of Tustin, Calif., and Juneann Kuchler of Randle, Wash.; brother-in-law Arnold Byram of Carson City; and other nieces and nephews.
No service will be held.
