A 43-year-old Reno man was in custody Wednesday, accused of exposing himself to female clerks at six businesses in Douglas County.

Tim Hovan allegedly entered the businesses Aug. 26, asked the female clerks for something, then exposed himself from the bottom of his shorts, said Detective Aaron Crawford of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.

Crawford said one of the victims followed Hovan and got his license plate number.

According to the Reno Police Department, Hovan is a registered sex-offender. Details of that offense were unavailable Wednesday evening.

He was being held in Washoe County Jail with bail set at $25,000.
