A Carson City man is being sought for questioning in the molestation of a 9-year-old girl, a detective said Monday.

Timothy Foreman, 37, was allegedly going to talk to police Sunday night about the accusations, but he never arrived, said Detective Steve Johnson.

"Sooner or later he's going to have to talk to us," Johnson said.

Johnson said the girl's family learned of the assaults Sunday and immediately reported them to police.

Foreman did not report Monday to his job as a quality assurance inspector for a Sparks company, Johnson said.

Foreman is described as a white, male adult, 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with short blond hair and hazel eyes. He is believed to be driving a 1999 flat-gray colored Oldsmobile sedan four-door with Nevada plates 654NKP.

Johnson said he has requested an arrest warrant from the Carson City District Attorney's Office on several child-related sexual assault charges.

Anyone with information on Foreman's whereabouts is asked to call the Carson City Sheriff's Department at 887-2020 ext. 1400.
