1975 - Nevada Indian Agency dissolved. Federal Bureau of Indian Affairs created the Western Nevada Agency (Carson City), Eastern Nevada Agency (Elko) and the Southern Paiute Field Station (St. George, Utah).

1975-84 - Western Nevada Agency located at the historic Stewart Indian School campus.

1984-2004 - Agency relocated to South Curry Street and Hot Springs Road offices.

2004 - Agency moves to renovated first floor offices of the Carson City Federal Building.
