A funeral for Gloria J. Raymond, 66, a Gardnerville resident for the past four years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Raymond died April 6, 2004, in Gardnerville. She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in New Orleans to Anthony J. and Florence Segreto.
Prior to living in Gardnerville she resided in California.
Mrs. Raymond held a bachelors of science degree. She attended Loyola University, University of New Orleans, Tulane University, University of New Mexico, Sonoma State University and Indiana University.
She worked as a mother and homemaker, school teacher, biophysics technician and property manager, retiring in May 2000.
She was an artist who enjoyed hiking, line dancing, tap dancing, ballet, Western and ballroom dancing, gardening and astrology.
She was a Protestant.
Among her survivors are her husband, Edward T. Raymond Jr. of Gardnerville; sons Edward T. Raymond III of Carlsbad, Calif., and Robert A. Raymond of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Rhonda L. Raymond of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sister, Charlene Perschall of New Orleans; brothers Anthony J. Segreto Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and James Segreto of New Orleans; stepson, Ronald Raymond of Albuquerque, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be at Lake Lawn Metairie in New Orleans at 1 p.m. Wednesday. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
