Karyn Jill Sinclair

A service for Karyn Jill Sinclair, 40, a Gardnerville resident for the past 30 years, will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Genoa Cemetery.

Mrs. Sinclair died Aug. 9, 2004, in Gardnerville. She was born Jan. 29, 1964, in Los Angeles, to James Terry and Donna Marie Johanson Downey.

She was a high school graduate.

She married Michael Edward Sinclair Nov. 17, 1979, in Gardnerville. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 2002, in Carson City.

Mrs. Sinclair was a cable splicer. She was a member of the Carson Valley 20/30 Club and the Carson Valley Christian Center.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Joann Foster; uncles Fred and Francis Thomsen and grandparents Ace and Opal Leavitt.

Among her survivors are her children Sean, Krystle and Ryan Sinclair; her parents; sister, Kim Barden and numerous other relatives.
