A Silver Springs mother was arrested Monday for allegedly driving drunk with two infants and a teenager in the vehicle.
Ramona Lynn Love, 33, was stopped by Nevada Highway Patrol troopers on Corbett Street in Carson City about 1:30 p.m. after employees at Carson-Tahoe Hospital flagged down officers to report she was drunk, said Sgt. Mark Clark.
According to Clark, Love had taken her 1-month-old daughter to the hospital for a checkup. He said the child weighed 5 pounds at birth and possibly has fetal alcohol syndrome.
A breath test allegedly revealed Love had a blood-alcohol content of .213, more than two times the legal limit, Clark said.
The baby, another 4-month old infant under Love's care and a 17-year-old girl were released to the teen's mother, Clark said.
Love was charged with three counts of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, drunken driving and driving without a license. Clark said Child Protective Services will be contacted by the court.
Love's bail is set at $3,951.
