Jack R. Anderson, 64, a Carson City resident for the past five years, died Feb. 4, 2004, in Carson City. He was born May 20, 1939, in Terra Haute, Ind., to John and Margaret Stoops Anderson.
He spent his early years in Illinois and graduated from high school. He received an associate's in arts degree from Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif.
He married Conchita Ortiz June 18, 1966, in Anaheim, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Simi Valley, Calif., for 35 years.
Mr. Anderson was a quality-assurance engineer for Hughes Aircraft for 35 years, retiring seven years ago.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Brian of Chatsworth, Calif., and Alan of Carson City; daughters Adalene Mitchell of Hanford, Calif., Alice Bemis of Hemet, Calif., and Virginia Greenlee of Highland, Calif.; brothers John of Quincy, Ill., and Larry of Orange County, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
There will be no services.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
