A memorial Mass for Jim Hull, 75, of Topaz Ranch Estates will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Gall Catholic Church In Gardnerville. A rosary will be said there at 7 p.m. tonight.
Burial will be in Cayucos Morro Bay Cemetery in Cayucos, Calif.
Mr. Hull died Feb. 6 at home. He was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Los Angeles to Edgar Gray Hull and Mattie Bell Wilson Hull.
He married Beverly. Before moving to Topaz Ranch Estates, they lived in Shingle Springs, Calif.
He was a mechanical engineer at Aerojet General Corp. in Sacramento for 34 years, retiring in 1988.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
He enjoyed golf, camping, travel and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Gall. He was a life member of Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Rocket Society, SIRS of Tahoe and the Cal Poly Alumni Association of San Luis Obispo, Calif. He was an honorary member of the Death Valley 49ers.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Marjorie Kuntz and Mary Helen Gibbs.
His survivors include his wife of more than 49 years, Beverly of Topaz Ranch Estates; sons Peter James Hull and wife Laurie of Camino, Calif., and Charles Joseph Hull of Topaz Ranch Estates; daughter, Patricia Ann Gaylord and husband Stephen of Somerset, Calif.; sister Kathryn Ferree of West Covina, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
