Marl J. Wyatt died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Carson City. He was 89 years old. He lived for the last 20 years in Gardnerville.
Wyatt was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Soldier, Idaho to Joseph Wyatt and Desi Mosier. He graduated from high school and attended two years of college.
He married Myrtle L. Andrews. Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived for 14 years in South Lake Tahoe and seven years in Sacramento. He was a career soldier, spending 23 years in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Margaret of Alta Vista, Kan.; daughters and sons-in-law Shirley and John Breaden of Burke, Va.; and Judy and Ken Schroeder of Gardnerville; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Walton's Sierra Crematory is in charge of cremation.
Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Nevada Alzheimer's Association.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
