Mildred M. Johnson, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, died Jan. 22, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 17, 1915, in Kansas City, Kan., to William B. and Bertha L. Neu Munch. She was 88.
Prior to living in Carson City, Mrs. Johnson lived in Pasadena, Calif.
She worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Pasadena for 25 years retiring in 1978.
Mrs. Johnson was a volunteer for the Carson City Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center where she taught crafts.
She was an active world traveler.
No services will be held at her request.
Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Carl A. and Mary A. of Carson City, Robert V. and Degolia of Boise, Idaho, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
