Memorial services for former Carson City resident Julia Marie Bayhylle will be 2 p.m. Monday at Poteet Funeral Chapel in Pawnee, Okla.
Ms. Bayhylle died Jan. 22, 2004, in Pawnee. She was 62. She was born July 7, 1941 in Pawnee to Edwin V. and Elsie Sam Bayhylle.
She married Dennis Belindo at the Central Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Okla., in 1962.
Prior to living in Pawnee Ms. Bayhylle lived in Carson City, moving in May 1985.
Ms. Bayhylle attended Chilocco Indian School and in 1983 attended the Practical Nursing Program at the Meridian Vo Tech in Stillwater, Okla. She enjoyed beading, sewing, playing bingo and spending time with her family. She loved cats.
Among her survivors are her sons Barry Belindo, of Mountain View, Okla., and Jon Belindo of Arkansas City, Kan.; daughter Victoria LeClair of Pawnee; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Edwin V. Jr. of New Mexico, Myron L. of Perkins, Okla., and Byron L. of Pawnee; her former husband of Mountain View; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at the North Indian Cemetery in Pawnee with the Revs. Duane Pratt and Barry Belindo officiating.
Poteet Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
