Two people were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon on Carson Street in South Carson City.
According to authorities, a white Dodge Sportage truck was attempting to make a left turn onto West Overland Street from the northbound lane on Carson Street when it crossed into the path of a red Dodge Caravan.
The Caravan struck the truck in its passenger door, sending both vehicles into a ditch on the southbound shoulder.
Carson City Sheriff's Deputy Mark Marshall said both drivers were conscious when rescue personnel arrived.
The two were taken to Washoe Medical Center by Care Flight helicopter. Their names were unavailable.
