Genoa holds Home-and-Home tourney

Diane Gilmore, Mimi Prim, Adele Juskalian and Blaine Bolton won the title in the Genoa Lakes Ladies Golf Club seventh annual Home-and-Home Golf event for the Incline Village Teesters Golf Club.


Gilmore and Prim and Teesters Juskalian and Bolton placed first with a 118 in the two best ball tournament. Mary Panzer, Sandy Cable, Karen Kuehns and Linda Reynolds took second (119).


Carole Schenck, Janet Petrosky, Susie Main and Teester Barbara Weisend were third (120) and Barbara Wilson, Pauline Van Leeuwen and Teesters Sherry Valenta and Adrienne Hotchkiss took fourth (121). Closest to the pin honors went to Nan Fleming and Teester Mary Ann Clements.


Bev Wurtele was the tournament chairperson and afterward a hamburger barbecue, salad and dessert luncheon was held at the Van Sickle Station hom of Gail Teig. Assisting Wurtele and Teig with the event were Geri Wilk, Diana Mayrink and Carole Schenck.


Chefs for the barbecue included Roger Teig, Ed Wurtele, Dwayne Phillips, Bob Wilk and Jim Burlison. The Teesters will host the return Home-and-Home tournament in August at the Incline Mountain Course.
