Dawn L. Schmitt, 44, a Silver Springs resident for two years, died June 4, 2004, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1960, in Arcata, Calif., to Michael and Muriel Bauer Petrillo.
She attended Livermore High School in Livermore, Calif.
Before moving to Silver Springs, she lived in Cocolalla, Idaho; Livermore and Arcata.
Mrs. Schmitt was a Baptist.
Among her survivors are her husband, Edward, of Silver Springs; father of Corral de Tierra, Calif.; brother, Michael Petrillo Jr. of Grass Valley, Calif.; sisters Cyndy Maxwell of Roseville, Calif., Diane Petrillo of Marina, Calif., and Toni Swenson of Livermore; one granddaughter; and dear friend Debbie Crampton of Silver Springs.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
