The Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) is offering a free, family fishing clinic, tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
It will be held at the Galena Park Pond.
That clinic is geared for entry anglers and will demonstrate basic hook and line setup.
The class size is limited to the first 20, who sign up.
There is a minimum age of 5 to attend and an adult must accompany all children.
Anyone 12 years old or older is required to have a valid fishing license.
Participants are requested to bring their own fishing rod.
A limited number of rods will be available for use by those who do not have their own fishing equipment.
To register or for information, call Chris Vassey at NDOW at 688-1622 during regular hours.
