A memorial for Robert L. "Bob" Kennedy, 47, a Bella Vista, Ark., resident for the past 12 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., with the Rev. Stan Nichols officiating.
Mr. Kennedy died June 18, 2004 at home. He was born Oct. 21, 1956, in California to William and Jennie Kennedy.
Prior to living in Bella Vista, Mr. Kennedy lived in Southern California.
He was self-employed in heating and air conditioning. He loved to work with his hands and could fix anything. He enjoyed ocean fishing, boating, scuba diving, ultra-light airplanes and motorcycles. He was a licensed falconer and loved to help and rescue injured falcons.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife, Sherry Kennedy of Bella Vista; mother and stepfather Jennie and Keith Tolman of Carson City; daughter, Chelsea Kennedy of Rogers, Ark.; stepdaughter Christie Becker of Yukon, Okla.; sisters Sandy Fujimoto of Lake Tahoe and Kathy Witmer of Indiana; and stepgrandsons Jacob Dare and Xander MacElhaney, both of Yukon.
Burial will be at Yukon Cemetery at a later date.
Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
