A4 crimes 3/20/04

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 50-year-old Carson City bartender was arrested at 11:46 p.m. Friday on the corner of Gentry Way and Clearview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor first-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,132.

- A 35-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 1:31 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

- A 23-year-old Carson City cook was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Dayton for failure to appear in court on a traffic violation. Bail was set at $185.

- Shane Edward Parsley, a 25-year-old Carson City tile worker, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Friday on the corner of College Drive and College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, misdemeanor missing required headlamps, basic speed violation, failure to maintain lane, possession of hypodermic needle, driving under the influence and on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $2,660.

- A 38-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 3:36 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Como Street on two misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear in court, one from Sparks, one from Reno. A cash-only bail was set at $850.

- A 44-year-old Carson City carpenter was arrested at 10:29 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Imperial Way on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,132.

- A 21-year-old Reno production worker was arrested at 9:05 p.m. Friday on the corner of North Carson and Adams streets on suspicion of felony first-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,132.

n Deputies responded to the following calls:

- A report at 1:01 p.m. Friday from the Carson Nugget in the 500 block of North Carson Street of a person taking money from a mobile change bank at the casino.

- A report of a residential burglary at 3:20 p.m. on Friday in the 1500 block of East Telegraph Street.

- A report of a residential burglary at 3:58 p.m. on Friday in the 50 block of Tiger Drive. Occurred during the night. House was ransacked.

- A report of a residential burglary at 4:44 p.m. on Friday in the 3900 block of Northgate Lane. Occurred during the night. House was ransacked, hand gun missing.

- A report of a 2- or 3-year-old girl wandering alone at 5:02 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of South Carson Street. Mother returned about two hours later.

- A report of a female drunk driver in a ditch in a red Neon at 11:05 p.m. Friday on the corner of Gentry Way and Clearview Drive.

- A report of a fight between two males at 11:57 p.m. in the 700 block of Broadleaf Lane. One reportedly had a rock, the other had a knife.

- A report of a residential burglary at 7:37 a.m. in the 1100 block of Sonoma Street.
