A memorial service for Kathleen Means Minatre, 62, an Albuquerque, N.M., resident for the past year, will be at 10 a.m. June 19 at Dayton State Park.
Mrs. Minatre died May 7, 2004, in Castle Rock, Colo., due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born May 7, 1942, in Sedalia, Mo., to John and Hulda Means.
She graduated from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia.
She married Gary Minatre on Feb. 13, 1965, in Carson City.
Before moving to Albuquerque, she lived in the Carson City-Dayton area; Manila, Philippines; Beirut, Lebanon; Nairobi, Kenya; Pretoria, South Africa; Bonn, Germany and Alexandria, Va.
Mrs. Minatre was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband of Albuquerque; children Michele of Albuquerque and Kerri of Bellevue, Colo.; stepson Dirk of Tucson, Ariz.; stepdaughter Jawni of Idaho; sisters Juanita Joy of Sedalia, Zona Rose of Dayton and Carol Rice of Killeen, Texas; brothers John Means of Fair Oaks, Calif., Rolland Means of Woodworth, La., and Vernon Means of Blue Springs, Mo.; three step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation was at Ellis Family Services in Littleton, Colo.
