Robert Darwin Antrim, 71, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Sept. 3, 2004, in Carson City. He was born Nov. 9, 1932, in Liberal, Kan., to Darwin and Cora Griffin Antrim.
Mr. Antrim was a retired Marine Corps veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He received a Purple Heart award.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Joyce, and adopted son, Tim Whitlatch.
Among his survivors are his son, Robert D. Jr. of Nevada; adopted sons John Whitlatch of Oregon and Richard Whitlatch of South Carolina; daughter, Brenda Antrim of Redondo Beach, Calif.; sister, Betty Jo Housand of Bremerton, Wash.; brother, Don Antrim of California; and several grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be in Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
