The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 40-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was arrested at 10:22 a.m. Friday on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $632.


• A 26-year-old unemployed man from Reno was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Friday at Washoe County Jail on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $414.


• Victoria M. Morrissey, a 38-year-old unemployed woman from Sparks was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Friday at Washoe County Jail on felony warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $10,000.


• Jason Wade Henry, a 33-year-old unemployed man from Silver Springs was arrested at 2:49 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of Brunswick Canyon on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle, suspicion of misdemeanor having an open container, suspicion of misdemeanor littering and suspicion of felony possession of methamphetemines. Bail was set at $5,347.


• A 22-year-old laborer from Stagecoach was arrested at 3:42 p.m. Friday in the vicinity of Brunswick Canyon on suspicion of misdemeanor first-offense DUI, suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving and suspicion of no valid insurance. Bail was set at $12,864.


• A 23-year-old production worker from Gardnerville was arrested at 2:49 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of North Carson Street on two counts of suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply. Bail was set at $6,000.


• A 41-year-old cashier from Carson City was arrested at 4:42 a.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of Arrowhead drive on suspicion of misdemeanor first-offense DUI, suspicion of misdemeanor failure to maintain lane, suspicion of misdemeanor fictitious registration, suspicion of misdemeanor no proof of insurance, suspicion of misdemeanor obstruction and suspicion of misdemeanor resisting arrest. Bail was set at $2,378.


• A 47-year-old courier from Carson City was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Latigo Drive on two counts of suspicion of misdemeanor stalking and suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $2,652.




-- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A 15-year-old female didn't go to school. Her mother called to see if deputies would like to pick her up.


• Male called reporting his vehicle stolen. The vehicle was found with the registered owner. Male was advised not to keep vehicle from registered owner.


• Man called to say his wife was suicidal and told him "the pain was too much." She was last seen at Wal-Mart.


• A business owner called to complain that a subject in baggy pants would not leave his store. Subject left, then returned and committed battery.


• A truck with two lights on was unoccupied except for the presence of two dogs. The owner could not be located.
