A funeral for Frances P. Elzey, 85, a Carson City resident for the past 28 years, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Elzey died Sept. 29, 2004, in Carson City. She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Winter Quarters, Utah, to Joseph and Veronica Parrish Podbevsek.
She married John F. Elzey Aug. 3, 1942, in Prescott, Idaho.
Mrs. Elzey worked in the electronics industry for many years. She enjoyed gardening, watching golf and playing keno at the Carson Nugget.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 4, 1990, in Carson City; brothers Frank, Joe, Stanley and Louis Podbevsek; and sister Mary Strang.
Among her survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Vikki Elzey and daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Larry Byrd, all of Carson City; sisters Veronica Haycock of Helper, Utah, and Alice Schmidt of Price, Utah; granddaughter, Stacey Patane of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inurnment will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
